Ph.D. completed!

The journey that has been my Ph.D. is coming to a close, and exciting new scientific journeys are on the horizon!

I successfully defended my dissertation at the beginning of May at the University of Miami. It was a wonderful weekend of science and celebration, and I am so happy to have shared this experience with my labmates, friends, and family.

A special shoutout to my supervisor Amy for her mentorship and for making the past 5 years absolutely unforgettable.

If you’re keen to read a 200+ page summary of the last 5 years of my life, check back soon to access my dissertation titled: Uncovering Unseen Elements of Termite Carbon Cycling in Australian Tropical Savannas: From Hollow Trees to Methane Emissions.

Thanks to all the termites that made this body of work possible. Dr. Yatsko signing off for now!
